First and foremost, my deepest condolences to Jasson’s friends & family. I had the privilege of working with Jasson a few times. He was a good-spirited, smart, funny, kind-hearted, selfless man. He will definitely be deeply missed. I didnt see one comment that it could have been a medical issue. If for some reason he passed out, had a heart attack, seizure, etc….then yes, he would have hit the wall at a high rate of speed. There are many possibilities, please dont assume u know what happened

How amazing that there are so many experts, and that assumptions of speeding or texting arise. What if it was a medical condition, a stroke , a heart attack. Unable to control vehicle , never used the brakes !! Please stop speculating. Stop judging. Express your condolences, offer kindness or find something better to do . My sincerest and heartfelt sympathy to the Family and friends of this gentleman. A big thanks to all our amazing first responders and local Law enforcement.

@Danny Well, your shouldn’t be at “normal highway speed” when it rains, it’s baffling how many ppl don’t slow down when it pours here.

Before some of you spout off about what you think happened, remember this, at normal highway speeds, add rain and an impact with a stationary object can result in this type of heavy damage . 28 yrs of Emergency Services seen it too often.

A tragic loss of life of such a great person, he was a father, a brother an ex firefighter but most of all a great friend. heart felt condolences to his family and everyone who ever knew him. he will be missed by many. Rest in Peace brother.

Tracy, looks like a pretty sporty 4 door sedan. That’s a ton of damage that is only possible with a lot of kinetic energy. The wall isn’t moving so that just leaves the car.

Slow down people, especially when there is biblical rain coming down like what we had yesterday. This could have been any of us on any given day. We’ve all driven too fast down the interstate during bad weather conditions.

I feel for the family of this fellow. No matter what was at fault, it’s still tragic and hurts all the same.
