The dishwasher detergent we have says it contains bleach, therefore the dishes are probably ok there, but the water you use to wash by hand would have to be boiled or bleached before you wash. As for the automatic icemaker, do not use that ice until the warning is lifted. Some of my ice cubes were brown, so I bought bagged ice for the family and kept the icemaker working to flush out the lines.
