It’s interesting that when people in Century were allowed to have all the chickens and goats and other farm animals on their property the town seemed better organized.
Maybe the City Government should have focused on keeping their own ducks in a row instead of worrying about the residents ducks?

I have NEVER heard of such a town in my whole long life. Maybe there IS no one in Century that knows how to run a town/government. I do not know how either, so I would NOT do it. However, I think that upright kids that were truly educated could do a better job. Why not let them? However. turning them over to Flomaton seems like a good idea. But. I doubt Flomaton would want them or could afford them. Seems that very few in Century even work. SO, they do not really have a large enough tax base. How can they run a town with not enough money or knowledge on how to spend what they DO have? I think some people maybe want to be “big shots,” but do not want to get the education or study on their own to learn how.. They just want to feel important??? But, isn’t that human nature? “Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” So sad.

I am so sick and tired of this horrible mess. Wake up people this did not just happen in two years. I remember several years back when the Town of Century was a very prosperous small town. Where has the towns money gone or should I say the peoples money go. Century residents come together and quit fighting each other and get to the bottom of this. Century residents need to know

Y’all I think you should just move the state line and make century part of Flomaton Alabama. Because it is quite obviously that state of Florida doesn’t give a crap about the incompetence government Representatives have shown. And who anybody who is owed money stand in line

Wow!! I cannot believe that no legal action has been taken against the council members or its mayors for there horrendous incompetent. It’s all over the news that century is in debt up to their ears. They can’t pay anybody. It’s just a matter of time before Century.
