Very heartbreaking to read this! Brandon was such a genuine, sweet and selfless guy! His usual first question would be to ask how your day was or just to make sure you were doing okay. He and his best friend would always be together; they were a duo and if you saw one you would see the other. He just had such a warming soul and it will be greatly missed! My heart goes out to his friends and family!

he was one of my best friends. I grew up with him. from the story I was told he got turned around that’s why he was going the wrong way. either way its tragic and his parents lost a heck of a son and I lost a heck of a friend.

@RangerDave – since this was a motorcycle, it’s a vehicle that must go WITH traffic. I do know that in most states, a bicycle is also considered a vehicle and must go WITH traffic as well. Pedestrians should walk facing traffic, so yes, the opposite way. I used to argue with someone from California as they said bicycles went against traffic. I guess it used to be that way in some areas. I don’t know since I’ve always lived in Florida.

@ Ranger Dave, you do know he was on a motorcycle not a bicycle. I wouldn’t ever advise to ride a motorcycle in opposite direction of traffic. Maybe he just got confused and didn’t realize exactly where he was at.

I’m 56 Y/O , I was also taught that walking/riding/seeing traffic head on was correct ?
I’ll take my ticket and live another many more years B/C of this .
