Agreement with other statement i have also witnessed officers using there phones knocking they are texting or and being distracted by their onboard computer yes there is allot of things police officials do and get away with that we get citations for. Just to add accidents do happen and in all my driving career i have never seen so many people that do not know how to drive road rules or common sense,

@just a thought, for yourself go sit at that intersection between 7-9 am and 3-6 pm you will see that pedestrians do the stupidest stuff, even with a crosswalk and lights they ignore it all. They will literally stand on the yellow center line, or walk between cars it’s crazy right there, I think most of it is foot traffic from ECAT.

Maybe the question should be was the deputy distracted looking at his phone or computer. I have seen this many times with law enforcement.

Just wondering if the boy was distracted by some electronic device or listening to music? Glad the kid is OK and will be reminded to be safe>
