Ms. Fiance, not knowing your situation, please leave, go to a Women’s shelter immediately.. There is one in Mobile, Penelope House. Look them up online or go to the police. They will assist you.
Do not stay in this toxic relationship. if there are children involved the shelter will aid you in any possible way to recover. Best of luck.

Granddaddy was a deputy in mid-Alabama back in the day. A very large and strong man who’d worked fields and farmed as a younger man.
Whenever he had to use physical force it was just that to subdue an ornery suspect or mean drunk into his patrol car, or the county truck.
This idiot would have had what was once called “the long way around to the jail” so they could have a talk about his past, present and future. Possibly there would be a Bible verse or two read to him and by the time the guy got to jail there would be an “Understanding” about the law and life.

Ms. Fiance, RUN. Some things you may not know: Men do not think like women. Their brains are different. Men do not get better AFTER you marry them. Even men that say they are Christians, do not always act like it after one marries them. You cannot change him. Only God can. If he is bad now, he will get worse after he is married. He may say he is sorry, but he WILL do it again. Over and over and over again. He will make your life very unhappy. May severely injure and/or kill you. If you appease him, he will isolate you and make you his compliant play thing, and you will enable him to continue in his bad behavior…………..RUN ! ! !
