The voters are going to cast the same votes with the same results.

Amy and Dewitt good effort getting in there. Great job. A vote of confidence should count for something also. I would not want that Treasurer spot for no amount of money anyone can grant me. That area is getting real muggy as the days go by. Good luck to all involved.

I don’t specifically know the PCI election rules, but runoffs usually happen when one candidate does not receive more than 50% of the vote. That was the case in the treasurer race…a winner would have needed 701 votes. In the secretary race, Meckel received more than 50% of the vote.

(But apparently it’s different rules for the at large seat? The winner had the most votes, but not 50%.)

Just curious. Why is there a runoff for treasurer and not secretary too? Vote count was even closer on secretary.

I don’t really know any of these people, just curious what constitutes a runoff.
