I’m of the opinion that we plan to never find fish any of the road projects here. Why would we not pool all resources and finish 9 mile rd as fast as we could to alleviate the traffic. Then do 29, then Pine Forest, then repave 29. They are building a bridge three miles long, over water, in half the time it is taking to widen a road that was already in place that was three miles long. Tell me that makes sense. I’m starting to believe that there is a little bit of cronyism going on here in the county. I only ever see two paving co.panies doing the work. Maybe Roads inc, and Panhandle ought to hire some people and get this stuff done and the county needs to start putting a closer deadline on things.

Not sure what repaving Hwy 29 has to do with your family heritage. I’m not looking forward to the red light at Molino Rd, but it will help school buses, log trucks, etc.
Everyone that moves to the Molino area are not Yankees nor yuppies . However, you are doing the right thing by moving. Enjoy Jay.

Pine Forest 3 lanes from Detroit to 9 mile????????????? Did they not know the folks traveling south on pine forest in the morning will be traveling north in the afternoon. Same amount of cars with one less lane to travel in. WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THEY THINKING?????????????

Sorry, not gonna be a negative Nancy, but I’ll be a negative Tabby. You folks call it progress, whatever. My husband’s family moved up here from 800 acres on the south side of Saufley Field. They didn’t even have street numbers or cable until 1990. Cue the influx of people, so they moved. Being a lifelong Molino resident, I always thought it would remain country. Now, the property in my family since 1929 is for sale. You people have come here and now want to change what brought you here. Molino will be like Ensley in 10 years. Jay, Fl. here we come. They aren’t gonna put up with Yankees and yuppies over there.

Why can’t they finish a road before starting another road. In front of Home Depot has been messed up for 2 years now. The Commissioner needs to go to Foley for instruction on how to repave a road. It takes them less than a week to pave Hwy 59. We work over there and we see how fast they get the work done. They also keeps their grass cut. It’s a shame for people come out of state to the beach and see the tall grass on the main road (Pensacola Blvd). It might get cut twice a year.

It like they are doing all of these on purpose. Get all of the main road messed up so if anything happen in Pensacola we can’t get out. I think we need to get new road department employer, whose not afraid to work.

I’m glad we take the back roads to Foley everyday.

I sure wish they would put into the plans to add an overpass over the Highway 29 railroad crossing just south of Muscogee Road. This is an evacuation route and is all too often being blocked by trains. Dangerous situation considering the number of residents in this area is only growing.

Heading north on 29, there needs to be a right turn lane onto W Quintette Rd. It’s right in that curve, and I see people nearly get rear ended by fast moving traffic frequently.

It takes less than an hour to get to Mobile……now it will take longer to get to P’cola from Cantonment…..lol
