I’ve seen some splash pads in bigger cities, it’s basically on all the time, but it’s activated for water by a big key shaped switch that the kids turn on and it runs maximum of 30 minutes then shuts off.

You should uphold the hours first stated. I think this subject should be powered by the sun and with that said use a solar powered switch to turn it on and off .

How about a solar powered switch.
The street lights have them.
In the morning when the sun comes out, the splash pad goes on.
At night when the sun goes down, the splash pad goes off.
No programming needed.

Hey Y’all Computer Geniuses and Geeks — how about if the Century Splash Pad was put on a simple switch and someone was paid a few bucks a week to go “Flip ON the switch at Start time and Flip OFF the switch at End Time?
Why does everything have to be “run by computer” anymore?
Easier to blame a Thing than a Person.
Ya, trying too hard to solve a simple solution.
