I have been around this game for years and years, been a part of multiple different high school teams and seen a lot of different approaches from their various coaches. But I have never seen a group of young men play harder for both their coaches and for each other than this group of Eagles. That starts at the top and Coach Brett and his staff have brought out the best in their players. When they win, its as a unit, and when it goes the other way, the same is true. Not a finger is pointed or blame placed. There is not a better group of coaches that I would want my son to play for. When you do things the right way, for the right reasons...greatness follows. Don’t know much about Tate HS and closed doors…but what Coach Brett and his staff have created here at PFHS is nothing short of phenomenal. Gossip not fact? Anyone who has been around the place for any of the last 5 plus years knows what's going on at Pace West, I mean Tate. It's no secret there have been MANY shady hiring practices during the current administrations tenure. It's not just athletics either. Just look at the press the last couple years, you've got band director issues, an administrator getting arrested multiple times, etc. And that's just the stuff that managed to slip out. No idea? Gossip not fact? Anyone who has been around the place for any of the last 5 plus years knows what’s going on at Pace West, I mean Tate.
