@Tee bug I understand what you are saying. I am sure he IS a good young man! Our youth mature much later than they did back in the day. I blame this on the parents & society! It takes BOTH parents to work to make it these days. These children are left home alone from a young age as NO CHOICE of their of own . It’s sad but it’s the cold hard TRUTH! I wish it was like it USED TO BE, before OUR GOVERNMENT DECIDED TO DESTROY THE FAMILY UNIT! They did it slowly, but they did it, We fell for it! Don’t believe? Research for yourself! Maybe instead of bashing this young man, PRAY for him instead. He NEEDS our prayers and encouragement! What happened to the good old days when the community came together for each other? Supported one another? The government can’t take this away from us!

Cantonment was a good place to be from, what happened, I have such fond memories of my time with CVFD and the gang in and around cottage hill, Williams Ditch Rd, Farm hill . I am almost ashamed to see what has happened to this area.

Not a “good boy” as he has made poor choices to break the law. Have raised 4 of our own kids in a good, loving home, taught how to have a personal relationship with Christ and read the Bible. Yet 2 of them have made very poor choices and feel entitled because that’s the type people they choose to hang around and because they would rather “be popular” and go with the crowd. Had to do some tough love and allow them pay the price for their mistakes….yes that was jail time for 1 of them because of drugs and many probation violations. As much as you try to raise them right they will make their own choices; they even knowingly making poor decisions because “it’s more fun” and they are so afraid of being considered boring. The hope is that one day they will return back to the values they have been taught and realize just how selfish they have been. Cannot take away someones freewill! Done spending money on an adult child that refuses to learn from previous mistakes…at that point it’s not helping them…it’s enabling them! Probably will be the same for this kid! Some just have to keep learning the hard way because they want nothing to do with those in position of authority!
