Dalton is a good boy i know him very well. He made a mistake now he is taking the consequences for it. But you don’t know what he has been through in life and what was on his mind and just anything. So it’s not fair to him for all this negativity and hate towards him. HE MADE A MISTAKE..woww like you all haven’t!!!!!!!

And yes, we are. Whether we do or don’t, though, is not just a random thing. It is a conscious choice each time to do good or bad. We make those choices based on who and what we are.

Those who do good are good. Those who do bad are bad. We can even decide to switch directions — repent of good or evil.

It’s better to do things which you won’t have to run from, hide, defend, deny. Maybe he’ll get back to that but not with folks justifying it or acting like it was just the luck of the draw.

So he needs rehab he comes from a good family, man some of you are so out of touch with reality. If he would of killed someone would you have been saying send him to rehab, if this would of been someone you didn’t know would you have been say send him to rehab more than likely not. One thing you can’t do is send a junkie yes a junkie to rehab unless they want it he has to be wanting to get clean himself but he committed a crime and guess what they will offer him drug rehab but it will be on him to maintain himself not no one else or his family

From a LOT of experience I can tell you that a person is not labeled good or bad because of what kind of family they come from. We can raise them up perfectly but once mama bird pushes them out of the nest, they make their decisions on their own. And sadly to say but fairly, we all live from decision to decision. The kind of person he really is will tell in time. If this was just a mistake then he will make better decisions next time. If he chooses this kind of life then he will be labeled as a bad person. I agree good parenting helps (most of the time), but we are all responsible for the decisions we make.This does not mean his family are bad.

“I know this young man and he comes from two great families and he is a good person”

Good people do not run folks over, use illicit/illegal drugs, and flee law enforcement doing their duty when it’s righteous. He may have been good previously, but he chose to do some very stupid things. He can rebuild his life, and there is hope. Please don’t make excuses, however. Other people are reading these comments and it contributes, in a small way, to the decay this eating away at our society.

He may come from a great family and he may have been a good person at one time, but he’s not a good person now. Good people don’t have outstanding felony warrants, run from the police, run over passengers who try to exit the vehicle he was fleeing in, nor do good people attempt to run over the police. The police officer he was attempting to run over would have been justified to shoot him. He needs to remember that and make better life choices.

but that don’t matter what matters is he did something wrong and he should pay the consequences. He needs God in his life and then he might be something. If you don’t have God you don’t have anything. He

It baffles me when someone is so quick to defend a criminal. Especially one on drugs. He knows right from wrong. He may have come from a good family but his family has nothing to do with his actions! He made the choice to use drugs. He made the choice to break the law! Rehab only helps the ones who to change. Jail only helps the ones who want to change. He needs to be held accountable for his actions regardless if he is on drugs or noy!
