This is a terrible situation and I pray that every one turns out okay but I don’t see why everyone is saying “Why was that truck there? No truck signs aren’t the answer because drivers just ignore them.” That is a box truck, “no trucks” signs don’t apply to box trucks, and there is not a four way stop at the intersection. The car pulled into the path of the truck, it was a senseless accident.

Prayers going out to the mother and the kids. And to the driver of the truck for having to live with hitting them. May he understand that it was an accident! Not his fault! Everyone always wants to point the finger, make someone at fault. Well sometimes it’s just an accident! Prayers going out to all!

Like Mr. Metoo said, it looks like a delivery truck that was dropping something off near by. I. E. Wood group means probably wood or lumber to someone building cabinets or working on a house. That was probably the best way to get from point a to point b. The sign with a box truck and a red circle around and thru it, doesn’t mean no trucks at all. If a truck has a stop in/on that road it is allowed. If you think about it in any other way, that means no ups, FedEx, Amazon, or uhaul should go down that road…..

A commercial truck of that size is different than a rental truck. This will fall in the truck driver and truck company. Attorneys will pick through the drivers logs and figuire some reason the driver of the truck shouldn’t have been there. It’s a sad state of affairs as most heavy diesel vs car accidents are generally determined to be the fault of the non commercial vehicle. This is a terrible situation certainly. Given the amount of damage, it makes you wonder whether the truck and load was heavy or if speed will become a factor. Either this is life changing for all parties.

@ Billy… i meant no 4 way ar ten mile and stefani! The stop sign going west down 10 mile is in our yard. The stop sign on the other side is at corner of the Wards yard.
NO STOP SIGNA on Stefani at 10 mile!

@Billy… this is in my moms yard! It is NOT!!!!!!!! A 4 WAY STOP! It is a 2 way stop. NO stop sign at 10 mile and Stefani! I was there! As sixk as it is… this wreck was 100% her fault!

The woman driving the car is my best friend.
She has bad pins put in her tail bone and pelvis.
Her daughters are still not responding and are not awake yet.
The children are in serious condition in the PICU and Kelsey is in ICU still. She has absolutely no recollection of what happened, just waking up in the hospital. She hasn’t seen the girls yet but there are family and friends rallying around these three in support. Please send prayers up for Lil, Beth and Kelsey.
