Are there federal government employees that are actually on unpaid furlough? My neighbor (retired military) - works at NAS and according to him everyone there is working. He has never been in an unpaid status (neither in 2013 nor this time) He was paid retro active then and will be this time. Seems just a stupid game the political parties are playing at the expense of the working man. If they wanted to save money they would cut everyone's hours like businesses or organizations would do.
