I am here to tell you that some hit and run drivers will never come forward to own up to the responsibility of their actions. Good thoughts for a “cross-over bridge” however that is quite a challenge as would need to be handicapped accessible and maintained using public tax monies.

Difficulty is in getting human people to USE the proper crosswalks and to be visible to drivers. Many cross mid-street and wearing dark clothing at night. We have Many times seen areas with perfectly good and clean sidewalks yet pedestrians for whatever reason will still walk in the street, lanes of vehicle traffic. Same for the runners and joggers who run the roadbed instead of sidewalks, beyond my understanding.

NOT in any way supportive of the truck driver. Whoever hit the person and then left the scene is a Coward and has no heart for the one that was injured, killed.

Peace to the person who lost their life, Comfort to the families involved.

There is a crosswalk with a Walk, Don’t Walk, light there and some sidewalks. Prayers to the families and friends. God Bless them.

It would be nice to have sidewalks in Pensacola and other areas, and some cross-over bridges in high traffic areas.

Prayers to the family and hope the person driving the pick up will be found or turn themselves in. It would also be helpful to know what time this accident took place as someone might have seen the truck and have some information if they were in the area at that time..
