School bus drivers deal with way more than they should have to for very little money, for our children. Lets at least try not to bash on the entire school bus driver community because a few of them have the same "duh" moments that we all do on a daily basis. This driver has for better or worse lost his job, will probably lose his commercial driver cert, and will still have a family to support and bills to pay. One pulled out in front of me as if they were driving a car. I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting them. I know there are careless vehicle drivers but there are careless bus drivers as well. The light turned green for traffic to enter 9 mile Rd and as I saw the first vehicle start to pull forward I saw them stop; here comes a school bus rolling straight on 9 mile and they ran through the red light. Thankfully the driver saw the bus coming and didn’t pull out in front of it. Yesterday, I was at the light getting off of I-10 at Beulah. A lot of pressure on them to stay on schedule as they deal with the texting while driving idiots on the road...
