Car in front of me swerved to left and stopped. I swerved to right and stopped. I blew my horn so he would go on up the ramp and We would not all be rear ended.when he got on I-10 he went across three lanes and went down ramp to 29 south. He almost caused man behind him to hit him from the back. He went into the ramp 45mph curve doing at least 65/70 mph, swerved around our vehicle to the right lane, slammed on brakes as soon as he saw the flashing lights at the bottom of the curve (there was a wreck already) and skid sideways through the curve and corrected before slamming into a group of cars in the left lane. He then got back into the right lane, sped back up to pass the FHP & previously crashed vehicle. This F&R truck came from the shoulder into curve and the Malibu narrowly missed hitting it from behind. The Malibu sped up pretty quickly in the merge lane once on 10 West to get out of the next group of traffic. The whole putting his car into reverse thing must have happened seconds after we passed the Hwy 29 exit because we never saw that but the driver was completely out of his mind so it’s not hard to believe. I almost smacked a girl on Bayou Blvd by 9th avenue the other day... she stopped in the right lane short of the light, and THEN put on her blinker for a lane change - she needed to turn left onto 9th avenue towards the mall. three cars almost hit her as she went from the right lane across three lanes of traffic to left turn lane 1 of 2. people have no clue that they have other options available... getting lost for a few minutes is preferable to a car accidents any day.
