What makes me worry is that the replublican party is totally different than the party I remembered years ago. What is going on with Tariifs, and many things Trump is doing concerns me. And I voted for him. This is not a reality show. One wrong thing can turn our lives upside down. Now, with all the things going on I remember Nixon quit because of obstruction issues. Jeff Sessions was trying to do the right thing but he was bashed every time. There needs to Republicans and Democrats who represent the people and not the party.

I say, nah.

We voted. People would screw up the ballots again so nothing gained. Elected officials of questionable competence would still be running things. Governor Scott and Senator Nelson would still have armies of lawyers filing claims based on rumors or presidential tweets.

Some of those who voted back then have died since then and others have entered the state and some have left the state. There weren’t any missing ballots, just ballots not counted at exactly 7 pm November 6.

Most of the state has it sorted out already. Those who haven’t have most of it sorted.

No matter what happens, we will be stuck with some of those who were running, so we lose. No reason to lose sleep too.

people have months to prepare to vote and weeks to get absentee ballots in. follow the law, there is no excuse for voting in the wrong place or not being registered or getting your absentee ballots in on time. sometimes I wonder if we still live in America.
voting is a simple easy thing to do, just follow directions and mark your ballot correctly.

If you are to lazy to sign correctly. If you DIDN’T sign a check should the bank still allow it, if it was close (mismatched)? Let me know where you bank and your account number. How do you know their intentions?

Ballots where voters made mistakes but where their intentions were clear should be counted. And deadlines to tally ballots in machine and manual recounts should be ignored.”

Amen, M in Bratt. This terrifies me for the future of my children and grandchildren! What happen to “for the people, and by the people”. It doesn’t say by the judges and lawyers. This looks like a blatant attempt to steal an election to me!

Laws people! Our country does have laws, way too many of them in my opinion. However, the laws are there for a reason. I don’t know about other counties, but our county has a deadline for mail in ballots to ensure they are received on time. Any semi intelligent person understands that mail, even in the same town takes a day or two to arrive. So why would anyone expect to mail a ballot on the evening before the election and expect it to be received and counted the following day? Why have election laws? Why can’t we just mail in a piece of paper any day of the year and vote for someone for office? Why can’t I vote in Miami’s elections since so much of their crap floats up here? Laws are there to provide order, to provide a boundary. Laws apply to all, period. If you are too ignorant to fill out a ballot correctly, or to request a new ballot when you’ve made mistakes, what makes your ignorance more important than the millions that can and do follow the laws and rules.
Our country is going down a whirl pool toward disaster because we keep stretching rules and laws and warping our constitution. Our great country has thrived because we have boundaries for both the people and the governments interference. Stop the lunacy. We can NEVER appease everyone but we are destroying a great country trying to.
