There is a deadline: 18 November. Earlier vote counts were preliminary with the full understanding that others could come in later by mail from people serving our country around the world. As long as the postmarks were election day or earlier, their votes are not to be thrown away.

No new boxes of ballots showed up. Some ballots already in hand had to be read without using the machines because that is the law even when marked so the machine can’t read them. (Some circled names, some drew arrows to names. Some had obvious stray marks meaning nothing but which read like votes for two candidates for the same job. Anyone could tell what was meant but machines couldn’t.)

They were not declared on election night because they didn’t know what the vote from those ballots was or if some were not valid votes. That takes time to determine. The slowness of reading them does speak to the competence of the supervisor of elections there but Governor Scott’s observers reported no criminal action. They should have been able to report election night how many preliminary or not yet counted ballots they had. That suggested incompetence but they never said, “That’s all folks.”

The recount is not caused by the counties but by the closeness of the vote. Only a crook would call for not counting the votes and just picking a winner.

Making things up and reporting rumors is fun but not proof of wrongdoing.

There is a deadline for counted votes, but boxes and boxes of ballots appear 2-3 days later. Where were they? Under her bed, in the janitorial closet??? The entire State of Florida must re-count the votes and causing a waste of money because of 2 thieves.
