Grand Locust: In what manner are they fighting ignition locks? Are they fighting against every car having it? Or just people convicted of DUI?
Also, your comment about legislaors representing the victims, in part they do with prosecution of DUI drivers. The hold them accountable when the crime is committed. You just seem a bit off with the way you use your terminology. Legislators do not have a responsibility to keep any roadway safe. That is outrageous. If that were the case, they would ban all cars because accidents happen daily. Your logic is way off man.

I hope they include child protective investigators in the list of first responders. I worked that job for years and have PTSD from the direct result of seeing the egregious abuse on children. Others have it, too, I would imagine. Please include that field. The CPI is many times the first person on the seen...we need that help as well.

Insanity. Tens of thousands of Americans are dying on American roads from drunk drivers because the powerful alcohol lobby fights ignition interlocks. However, the alcohol lobby gets a bill passed which allows your local tavern to get free branded beer glasses, and another alcohol lobby group has a hissy fit because the big brewers can blow the socks off small craft brewers. Please note how the legislators are in the back pocket of big alcohol. By golly legislators, if only you could represent the family who just lost their children from a drunk driver who got in a car and started it scattering their precious lives on our public roads which the legislatures have responsibility to keep safe.......but it is good to know with branded beer mugs, that the merchants of death have more money to pay lobbyist, Shame!
