Annie, I only asked about your husband because of my past experiences. I was a tow truck driver for almost 50 years. Believe me, I have dodged many vehicles in my life. I thought that might be why he was in that area.

The victim could have been a transient fair worker. A lot of people are looking forward to temporary jobs at the fair and they travel Pineforest Rd. by foot.

Are people having car problem?. More and more people seem to be walking on the interstate roads lately . In a fog I’ll take the slow rd to Pace. Not trusting anyone going 65mph an a heavy fog.

Prayers for his family. My husband was hit in the same spot 2 years ago to the day. He survived but it has been a long recovery.

I left work, I am a paramedic, yesterday morning at 0600. As I’m driving home in the foggy darkness I barely see a guy walking along the side of the road and further down the road a guy on a bike with no reflection or light on. I thought to myself that that was a work call waiting to happen.

With headlights in your eyes sometimes it is very hard to see anything in the dark. That area is very dark at night. Infact, my husband and I almost hit a construction worker who darted out onto the roadway right there. My husband didn’t see the guy and if I’d not caught a glimpse of him and yelled we would’ve hit him.Then he had the gall to yell at us like we were at fault for almost hitting him.

Prayers for those left behind after such a horrible accident.
