Mike McGee is a hardworking guy with a great sense of humor. I hope somehow he is found hanging in a tree or something. I’ve never been through any kind of flood like this one. It must have been terrifying. I don’t understand why there was no kind of heads up or warning from weather officials, that this was a possibility. I knew Charlotte too, very sweet woman. I was in the 1976 Big Thompson Flood, in Colorado. I know the devastation, fear, hard recovery and my heart and prayers are with all of you. To those who have lost loved ones, I believe they are safe and at peace and watching over you in their love. May God bless and comfort you.

No !! A levy did not have to break for water to rise that fast. I was stationed in Texas and I’ve seen water rise over 8 feet in heavy rainstorm due to the type of terrain. It can come up in minutes and nothing you can do.
