Gulf County rural areas need help!!.Please Help Wewahitchka. No news, no phone service, can not call out, the sheriff and EMS is over loaded. people are still trapped in their homes. People can not get in to help family members, cant contact them. No roads. No power, no water, no sewer, bridges out, destruction and debris everywhere, live power lines laying around everywhere! The County government that is built on population of 15,000. They DON’T have the resources. Everyone is in shock and just trying to account for missing people and keeping residents from killing themselves trying to retrieve trinkets and valuables from their homes. That’s if you’re fortunate to still have a home!! This is total devastation from a County that needs Federal and State help. DOT needs to repair road and bridges not county. Please please pray for these County officials and first res-ponders that are helpless and overwhelmed and just trying to begin to put back beloved Gulf County.

We pray for their safety while enroute each way and while they are there on location risking their lives to help others and the sacrifices they are enduring. We are very proud of them and hope their families understand how much they are helping others in need and loved by all.

So very very proud of our men and women who are leaving their families and risking their lives to help our counterparts. Watching the units pull out gave me chills and an overwhelming sense of pride. I hope everyone understands how important this is….I pray for their safe travels to and from and most of all while working. Thank you all!!!
