I know everyone would like to see more school resource officers, but retention at the ECSO is next to none , now even with the promised raises, they leave as soon as they can for better pay and other reasons. It’s my understanding that 16 are leaving to the neighboring county and maybe more, also leaving to other agencies. The patrol slots must be field before any sro slots. Patrol is the ones that show up for the active shooter or perimeter and other things and are an absolute necessity for day to day protection and proactive enforcement. Something needs to be done to convince them to stay, or get ready.

The law enforcement did do an awesome job now all Malcolm Thomas need to do is add more school resource officers at Tate High School, cause if he don’t then it will only get worse for them kids lives

@ wow, fleeing is used while the suspect is using a vehicle, obstruction and resisting covers him fleeing from law enforcement, as far a the gun goes, who knows if he had one or if he tossed it while he was running away.

Even if your address, phone, etc. has NOT Changed in the last 30 years it is a Real Good Idea to Verify with your kids schools.
