Why would the people at Wal-Mart say he stole the stuff if he didn’t ? Im sure the security cameras show he didn’t have any of those items with him when they came in the store. They are both thieves and should not be treated any different than just that …Besides the article says he had a loaded gun and he is a convicted felon, he committed a crime before he even walked through the door. Jail might even save his life.

The true story is not this. Yea he had that stuff on him but everything that he was returning was not stolen. I was with him when he bought all that stuff from Wal-Mart. Jonathan Franklin is a good man yea he did his dumb stuff but if anyone had to walk in his shoes for a day No one would last a sceond. He was returning all that stuff so he could take care of his kids. No one has the right to judge. I’m sick of people down grading my brother when noone knows his life. And for saying he is useless wow. Again No one has the right to judge everyone makes mistakes.

What I’m thinking is how would you like to be the loss prevention person who sat in that 5’x10’ room waiting for law enforcement while this guy has a loaded firearm on him, they do not search people when they detain them. If your armed while committing a crime whether your allowed to legally possess or not and it shouldn’t matter if it was used the charge should be enhanced.
