All of us are interested in finding out how, in 2013, the Board could have spent $2,300,000.00 (Yes, $2.3 MILLION) in Federal Grant monies (which comes from OUR Taxpayer pockets) PLUS $787,000.00 in LOCAL Funds to purchase 4 acres of beach on Perdido Key. This was to be for Public Access but it's never been opened to the PUBLIC who owns it and who paid for it with our Tax Dollars. I'll be calling MY Commissioner this week to ask what his position on this is. Sure would be nice to have someplace other than Pensacola Beach to take the grands.
