A BB gun CAN be life threatening. I work with a young man who is a quadriplegic and has been since his early teens. He and a friend were playing with a BB gun and his friend accidentally shot him in the back/neck area. He could never walk again.
I get that this is a little boy in middle school, but he probably doesn’t realize the seriousness in what could have happened, had the same thing happened to him. I pray that someone sits down with him and explains the “wrong” he has done and hopefully he never does something like this again.

I remember when a bb gun was a toy. we would have fun with them, but now it is a deadly weapon and in the wrong hands thousands of lives could be lost. yes an eye can be lost but heck that happens when kids play baseball. only in america.

Does everyone realize there is no metal detectors or any type of security to prevent something worse from happening on a school bus. Our buses are 77 passenger buses and in most cases only one adult which is the driver. How do we protect our students on a school bus? Is the driver responsible for the welfare of each child and what he or she has in their book bag ? Backpacks. Wake up call folks. It’s not if it’s when.
