Sometimes people lose their high paying jobs and have to resort to means that they themselves may be ashamed of in order to support their children. And if you research a little you will find that not all of those funds come from state taxpayers. We had one and it was given to the Sherriff's Dept. and it is sitting there not used. Escambia County has forgotten the North end. We used to be able to have some services at Billy Ward Center but cannot get driver's license, tags or any services there now. We should be annexed into Alabama and pay half the adveloriuu taxes on our property. This has been going on for years because my friends from Atmore could not believe the taxes on our property versus what they paid. Wake up Count Commissioners and drive up North. Why anyone would not be in favor of improved Dental,Mental Health and A General Physician is beyond my comprehension. There is a substantial amount of people in this area with poor or otherwise bad health, I consider any improvements to our health care generally a good thing.
