There is a blind hill at Well Line and also at Cooley Road, it is clear and then when you pull onto 29, a vehicle comes speeding over the blind hill at 70 or 80 miles per hour, BAM! This problem has been addressed with our local official as well as Law Enforcement. I hope that after the next election, that we are able to redress both problems. The answer to your question/thought is no my mother as you say "the person in the car" was not on a cell phone. She actually has a flip phone still and is not a big phone person and does not use a phone while driving. Now as far as the truth that was told by the man driving the dodge that hit my mom to the state trooper is that he in fact was on his phone and did not see my mom stopped at the red light. No idea how fast he was as going being as he didnt see light had in fact changed to red and she was stopped at red light but thank God he was surrounding my mother along with her guardian angels. It doesn't appear that the pickup was pulling an RV. I passed this accident on way home yesterday. Thought for sure someone was injured; glad I was wrong. Maybe bumping them yes I get it. But if your running 35 45 or more mph you have no reason to not be paying attention to whats in front of you. I feel there should be a law.
