		<description>Internet providers (mainly Cable vs AT&amp;T) are a circumstance of your location. Some people live in areas with better phone (AT&amp;T fiber, etc.) lines. Some live in areas with better cable lines. Others live in locations where both are good. Still others live where they&#039;re both BAD. I had Mediacom for 12 years and didn&#039;t have more than ten hours of down time that entire period. I&#039;m now on an old farm road where my ONLY option is 12 MB DSL from AT&amp;T. I&#039;ll never complain about Mediacom. I can&#039;t wait for them to come down my road.</description>

		<description>I have been dealing with Mediacom cable and internet issues off and on for many years. In the last month internet has been out every week for the last month. The last tech in our home said it was due to the heat. We are having a fairly mild summer with plenty of rain to keep things cooler so I doubt this answer highly. Every time they have a outage they make sure that the phone lines are jammed so you can’t call and get info or complain about the outage. The have now and always have had the worst customer service known to modern man. I am tired of paying extra fees to Verizon due to the outages caused by Mediacom. My town of Albany has put them up on a pedestal and made them a monopoly here so we are all screwed!
