Just to clarify those affected by the Precautionary Boil Water Notice: we don’t always know who is without water because people don’t always call us. If your water service was out yesterday evening between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., you are under a boil water notice. If your water service was not affected, you are not under the notice. Hope this helps.

Knowing how this process works, if everyone expects them to spend all their time on personal notification, it will take longer to find the problem. It works like a power outage, if it’s out, it’s out! Just like in your house things break down. We take too much for granted and then fuss when it’s not there. Be blessed that we have these luxuries 99 percent of the time!

@pine barren…. if you pay your bill to central water works and live on pine barren? Then yes it affects you.
@nana…. no killam wasn’t affected.
@local….. sorry if this affected you, but we’re trying to fix the problem and responded as quickly as humanly possible

Cause you know, let’s stop them from fixing the problem to hang a note on every single person’s door. These guys have been working since 7a.m. this morning. AND ARE STILL OUT THERE!!!! how about just let them work

So will we still be paying for this non potable water???? And is Central Water Works going to supply people with those cases of water???? Also they should better notify people that this issue is going on. At least put a note on our doors.
