You dont see other communities that are hard pressed to make ends meet doling out city funds for things that aren’t necessary. How is this expense justified? I like football and have grandkids that play it. The parents fund it not the town.

This has always puzzled me why football players didn’t have to pay for uniforms but cheerleaders did .but yet parents of cheerleader were required to work concession stand . I always felt discrrimination was in hand I paid several hundred dollars for my girls to cheer . And I refused to work for quarter back club . I sat back and enjoyed the game

this is a very good thing , but how can Century afford it, they are deep in debt. they need to get people and businesses tofully sponsor the team.
