If you look at the % of the state budget spent on education before the so called “Education” lottery and the % of the state budget AFTER the lottery you will see the problem.

Those folks are the same ones who celebrate lower taxes and then Demand better protection from Fire Dept, LEO, paved roads, clean water, help when disasters strike and on and on and on the list is endless.
BUT….they don’t want to have to pay taxes to get those Entitlements.

People vote for better education but then they don’t want to pay for it. where do they think the money is coming from for these improvements.
