Like hot enough to melt the glass in your car, hot enough to cook a steak on the hood. And he breaks out of jail in this heat! Wow. Maybe they had him out whacking weeds beside the highway and he had a heat stroke, didn’t know what he was doing? Maybe not. It’s just crazy. Not only is it way too hot to be running from LEO’s, the snakes are out there waiting. They’re hiding in what shade they can find and they do not appreciate being disturbed. A few years ago a guy in Monroe county ran from a deputy, disappeared into thick woods and wasn’t seen again until his skeleton was found by a hunter, a short distance from where he began his race. No way to tell for sure, but the general consensus was he was bitten by a rattler. Nope.
