True, I haven’t seen the insides but only 7 are privatized, NOT most. Further, this specific one definitely isn’t and that is what matters here.

I agree. After all he gave up his rights when convicted so why should an inmate assault a correctional officer with just a slap on the wrist. It should be a life sentence. Think about how little they make and they are just as locked up as the inmate is during their shift. Hold the inmates accountable.

He should be charged with two counts of battery on a LEO, stripped of all visutation, phone priviledges, commissary items and placed in solitary confinement for the rest of his sentence. That wouldn’t do anything to correct his behavior, more than likely, but it would be one heck of a deterrent to the other prisoners.

People wake up even if the inmate gets outside charges it don’t much matter because most of them are already are serving life. If we would quit feeling sorry for them and go back to the ball and chain, make them work in the field. They might stop and think before they do stupid things. Look up what a C.O salary is, you probably would shock at it. These people put their life in harms way everyday. Officer’s needs to be given the tools to protect themselves and maintain order in the prison systems. If they had these tools it would make it safer for Officers and inmates alike.

He still hasn’t learned, has he? Resisting/assault on an LEO when he was arrested too. He better hope he doesn’t need something from the CO’s some day, or he’ll wait a LONG time to get it.
