More government in our lives has reduced us to peasants and taken away our dignity. Corporations have shipped our jobs overseas reducing many people to serfdom. When a person has something that they can point to, and say, “I built that”, and pass it on to the next generation, they will feel fulfilled. The last administration was the antithesis of everything America has traditionally stood for. God, family, tradition…all was mocked. Thank GOD things seem to be turning. And looking to our past, we get strength for our future. These rates are too high, yes, but they will turn as things improve. Hold your head up, and get busy living and loving.

Who do we blame. God, Bush, Trump,themselves, their parents? It has been a problem for a long time and we do not need to blame anyone we just need to find the cause and get it fixed. Not easy but we can try to move fwd. Suicide is a terrible thing for all.
Maybe if we putting God back into school and goverment would help.

Besides the drugs, pain pill withdrawals when coming off a med that can cause hopelessness, anxiety, and other bad things to happen, there’s also society in general that treats other members of society very harsh and negatively. Not saying we have to all get along . But before you look down on someone for there appearance, their past, their economic situation, how they live, whatever they’ve been labeled by society or government, stop and think that maybe they are close to that point of suicide before you judge them. Just a thought for niceness.

It is well documented that rates of suicide in a given country quite often coincide with economic downturns/upturns recessions etc. Point being this is probably a larger indicator of how the middle class and lower middle class are currently suffering financially because of inequality.

It’s a double edged sword. If you don’t do something about pain med/opiate epidemic, people will continue dying from overdoses. Are you an advocate for that? I cannot imagine the heartache finding out that a loved one has passed away from a overdose.

Got to have some common sense and can’t save everyone. Might solve some of the overpopulation burden we have.
