I can avoid paying sales tax by not making unnecessary purchases either online or in a physical store but if a income tax were to be put in place that would be unavoidable. Now a person in Oregon can buy something manufactured in Vietnam, warehoused in Indiana, pay over the Internet to a bank in North Carolina, and the state of Oregon receive sales tax from Navy Federal in Escambia county Florida.
