I agree that the sentence is way too light. However, it will not be fair if MANY others are not arrested also. I believe that inflicting pain on any living, breathing creature is heinous and sinful and NEEDS to be punished. Everyone needs to know what God’s Word says about animal cruelty. Just Google, “Animal Cruelty” in The Bible. Our own intellect should tell us this is wrong. What if the tables were turned and animals treated us as some of us treat them? Think about it. Does “others” in The Golden Rule, just mean other humans? Oh yeah………all do not observe that one either.

Probation? Seriously? A lot of excellent police work done on this case. Seems like just a slap on the wrist.
