@MichelleHenderson It is now summer time. Traditionally, homicides jump everywhere around the world during summer. The high heat adds a level of uncomfortableness to a person and if they do not drink enough water, they can act impulsively and do very irrational things. Just imagine a fit of rage, while standing in that summer heat for days on end. Also, lack of education and having a job would help these things from happening. A job would keep someone away from whomever and mentally concentrated on other things. I believe this will happen more often, especially here in Escambia.

They committed this heinous crime because they were dehydrated? The heat or lack of water didn’t have anything to do with this. It was domestic related violence in its worst form and these morally bankrupt people will pay for their crimes. Don’t try and give them a physiological excuse for this horrible crime

I was just repeating that hogwash about the heat is justifiable for causing people to make irrational things. It was a jab. (from Henderson’s message.) Instead of just personally calling him/her out on it. I’m sure that everyone else’s message was meant the same. AND, I’m far from being an idiot. A person needs to be really careful when name calling. There’s a time when things are better left unsaid, and you calling people idiots is totally uncalled for. Concentrate on the story and those individuals, instead of worrying about everyone NOT involved.

There is something wrong with the practice of condemning those who condemn the practice of murder under the theory that it is wrong to condemn others.

There is also something wrong with refusing to condemn murder because that amounts to approving murder and rejecting biblical rejection of murder.

But don’t let me stop you. You are free to reject, free to be wrong.

I guess you’ve never been to a house you don’t live in, huh? That was an asinine remark if I’ve ever heard one.

@All the idiots blaming the heat,

I’ve lived in the South all my life, at least half of it with no air conditioning, and never have I lured men to a home, shot them in head, driven them to another location, abandoned them to die and then attempted to destroy the evidence by burning a couch and calmly sat on a bucket across the road to observe the investigators as they tried to figure out what happened! Again, that was a truly asinine remark.

Comments such as these remind me why I left that area…other than a very select few, there is a level of stupidity that is unsurpassed in local residents.

No matter what either of the two victims may or may not have done, this was wrong, any way you look at it. My prayers are with the family of Mr Davis and with Mr Boutwell for a complete recovery.

All in all, those children are in better hands with someone else. Chris will have plenty of time to ponder on whether or not the wife/ex-wife was worth this nonsense. In the mean time, I’m praying for Dalton and Troy’s families and hoping that Troy makes a speedy recovery!

Living in the summer in South Al and Florida it is going to be hot that’s no excuse for anything that happens unless you just get overheated because of working. That’s no excuse for murder. People are just plain mean, selfish, and think of no one but themselves. People do what people want for there own selfish self. These people look like they are really energetic people that they are so lazy lice would not even stay on them. I hate to think of people like that, that even breath the same air as I do. God bless these people because they need it. As for the two that was shot shouldn’t have been there if they didn’t live there but pray for there families of the one that passed away and the one in the hospital. I pray he lives but pray that he changes his life style.
