DHG was not saying it was not legal at the time of commission of the alleged crime.  He is saying that since it WAS illegal, and now is NOT illegal, should she, or should she not be held accountable?

My point of view is that if it was truly self-defense, she should not have been charged with anything because it isn&#039;t her job to prove her innocence - it is the prosecution&#039;s job to prove her guilt.  The law had it backwards on this one, so I think she should at least get consideration for the retroactive part of the law, or at least a new trial under the new law.</description>
