Hey Guys, I DID think before I speak. I suffer from cronic pain in my legs, investigated by four specialists but remaining undiagnosed for 10 years. So maybe if I was on that stuff then it would lessen some of my pain. However, I need to drive and I DO NOT want to endanger someone else’s life in the process to relieve some of my pain. There is a type that doesn’t get people high, so maybe…?

I know someone who was wrecked into by a drug and pot impaired driver. The collision broke the car seats mounts and the seat belt broke her sternum in two places, plus other injuries. So, is it wrong to ask people who will constantly be on pot, to not drive? Yes, if I ever do try medical marijuana, then it will be when I don’t have to drive anymore, just like alcohol. The problem with a lot of people these days is that they think of themselves before they think of others.

And BTW, I disagree with your opinions, but I’m not going to be “don’t have a clue” rude. That’s childish. Please try to be better.

As a retired RN, I cared for many cancer patients who smoked pot to get relief from pain, nausea and the discomforts of the disease. If you haven’t been there, then don’t judge the ones who really need the relief offered by marijuana. Medical marijuana could help many sick people. Just think, one day, you may be needing this relief. Think before you speak.

Medical use pot may be helping some people and it’s amazing that Cathy Jordan has lived so long with ALS, but this will give people another legal substance that affects judgement and impairs driving skills. Just like alcohol, more people will be injured and killed in traffic accidents once legal pot is allowed. One possible solution that I would support would be that people on medical marijuana should not be issued driver’s licenses. John Morgan will run for Governor and there is NO WAY that I would EVER vote for him.
