I agree with Molino Resident the approaching flashing warning sign with lights has apparently slowed down accidents from Byrneville Road @ Hwy 29 along with the rumble strips.

Believe or not, the state is still in denial that it’s them contracting for work on a county road. I think the left hand does not even know that there is a right hand.

You wouldn’t BELIEVE the run around we have had to attempt to get our rumble strips nears us re done and raised.

I am serious..I am not going to even go into it.

And they are NOT redone.

Government FAIL on so many levels.

Thinking hwy 196 ( barrineau park rd ) is a county road….CR 196. If that’s
the case then wouldn’t it be the County’s responsibility ? Whoever/whatever
is in charge might need re-training in traffic safety & control. The speed limit
is too high (only west of 29 ? ) Did anyone contact the residents about the speed
limits ? Traffic being GPS’d off Interstate 10 in Alabama with big numbers of 18
wheelers and for the last 5 months the DETOUR. Also log trucks by the dozens
coming from Alabama . All this adds-up to big potential problems & accidents
and it appears whoever they are just ain’t paying attention.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it we’re a resident. Out here, if our commissioner and government won’t do it, at least SOMEONE does. Thanks many times over to them. 2018-1982=36 years people since warning strips were installed, after a death
WTH? 36 years. I know of at least 3 deaths before all the traffic was rerouted. We better start electing people to look out FOR US.
