Have to say this is a terrible tragedy that could possibly been avoided if there had been some kind of barrier or barriers to prevent any vehicle Off the road and n the median from going down the ravine.

A lot of people have been wondering if there is anything they can do to help. One of the biggest needs for the families is gift cards for food and gas. The families are all mostly coming by car to Sacred Heart and this is an expensive trip they weren’t expecting to have to make. Cards can be dropped of at Sacred Heart Administration if you’d like to help alleviate some of the stress on these families.

Prayers for all the parents, who we know are so worried about their children, and the young people. Prayers go out to the driver’s family also. Can’t imagine what happened to make him leave the traveling lanes. My hope is in God, I know what HE can do!

Great photos. You just do not see how deep these ravines are when you are flying down the interstate at 70mph. These photos really show how dangerous leaving any roadbed including an interstate can be. It is amazing that there was not more loss of life.

This is so sad…we were at WDW this past weekend and we saw them March in the parade on Saturday. My heart is broken for these children and their families.
