Someone please explain to me why Muscogee was closed for that long and was not even paved all the way to Jacks Branch Road? The reason I ask this question is I traveled from Beulah to Jacks Branch today and the amount of patches in the road and pot holes are crazy.

It is so about time. Hope they don't shut it down for the next several phases. I have been using River Annex Rd and Kingsfield, if it's been raining. 6 months is a long time to close a road.

@ 429scj
It's cause they've got used to the short-cut, the 55 mph ( more
like 65 mph) unenforced speed limit. Plus it's downhill all the way to Alabama

Then why are log trucks still screaming up and down Barrineau Park and Jack's Branch Roads?

These heavy, high speed trucks pose a clear and present danger to the taxpayers who dwell along the roadways.
