Jailview always shows 0.00 as people are processing out of jail whether it be by bonding out or ending their sentence. Sometimes it stays that way for a few hours. Releases are always very clise to midnight. Their status changes to released as they exit. Friends and families watch it to determine when to head to the jail to pick them up.

When dws made that post, I checked it out on jailview also. Seems that the subject was released the following day (3 felony charges plus 2 misdemeanors). Bond amount listed was indeed $0.00. I assumed that he was released ROR.

I found this to be very strange in that the subject had been arrested on a total of 6 felony charges including robbery & previous agg. assault in the past 4 yrs. prior to this instance. Not to mention a gaggle of misds.

I understand that these are arrest records, not convictions. But why was a person who was recklessly shooting up a neighborhood released so quickly and without security bond if online records are correct?

Can you shed some light on this Mr. Stillman?

DwS:

No bond, or zero bond means they cannot be released. Everyone who goes to jail will either have an ROR (Released on own Recognizance), a bond with a dollar amount or “No Bond” which normally is to hold a person for first appearance. This is common for people arrested for Domestic Violence and Probation Violation. Court Security deputies have nothing to do with the bonding out or releasing of an individual. Jail View will say “released” when they are let out….

Everyone jokes that Ennis has a get out of jail free card. Looked on jailview and they let him out yesterday with $0.00 bond. His buddy was held under $62K.
Looks like he gets released regularly with zero bond. Does someone at the courthouse want to keep him on the streets?
Strange, maybe he does have a get out of jail free card
