Ramey’s has the best managerial staff;
Ramey’s has survived in Atmore because of them.
If you preferred W-D deli, it’s because you never tried Ramey’s.
I pray Ramey’s will stay open to give us a non-Walmart place to buy food!

When ever I come home to Atmore to visit. The first store I would go to is Winn Dixie. Great customer service !!! The BEST SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY around. I’m going to miss the deli. Love the fish and the rotisserie (lemon) chicken is my favorite.

Kwik Chek….what a blast from the past . 50 cent per hour ( plus tips ) bout
60 years ago over in the panhandle. Great experience & always had pocket
full of change (tips)….”them we’re the days “. had a scooter ( cruisaire ) take a
$1 to fill-up & run all week. P.s. all the quarters,half’s, and dimes were real
silver back then……but who knew ?

Sure didn’t see this coming. If anything, I didn’t think Ramey’s would have lasted as long as it has. And now, the same bunch will be moving into the W/D building. I’m sure they’ll have it as nasty and sketchy as the Lindberg Ave. location in record time. Walmart and Ramey’s….what a selection.

Prices are too high, and Atmore’s Walmart is too small and crowded. For me it’s worth the 20 minute drive to Bay Minette.

Winn Dixie’s deli is fantastic. Love their dinners, their buy one get one free. Will be lost without them.

As long as they can keep that delicious baked chicken in the deli. I don’t care what name they slap on the front!
