Can't wait to drive on that new strip of road. Kingsfield Road is dangerous and not safe at night at all. Hope this one last longer than Beulah Road has.

Hopefully, at last, that 1/2 mile or so of 297A will stay fixed after 8 long months of a proper fix.

Takes a while to dig down and address those soft spots deep underground. In years past, log trucks and garbage trucks could quickly tear up that section because of deep gooey clay that had to be dug up and removed to build a proper foundation that would pass a compaction test. Underground springs had to be addressed.

I was told the end of March if we have good weather. I commute three round trips a week to Beulah. We are so over the rough West Kingsfield Rd detour...and I'm SURE those residents are weary of all the extra traffic in their quiet residential street. It cannot be soon enough.

Oh good, a month late already and still not finished. I love all the extra time this construction adds to my commute. It's not inconvenient at all.
