It is owned and operated by Airmethods but continues to use the Baptist logo. I hope everyone realizes that the aircraft does transport patients to many hospitals in the region as well as respond to scenes. Patients are not brought to the base for transport. Life Flight transports many critical patients and many will not be able to travel to keep them stabilized. Transporting a patient from helicopter to ambulance and then to hospital will lose critical time. So that being said...is that 1,400 sq ft office going to be a healthcare facility (and not just office personnel? If so, I would hope and will pray that ECSO adds more patrols here in north county, not only for common sense purposes (patrols, etc) but also to issue a ton of tickets for the drivers on Hwy 29 who fail to pull over for emergency vehicles. I would also hope Baptist is providing plenty of their own security personnel as well as timing this relocation (if approved) to be done after most of the current improvement projects are complete between Success and Baptist Hospital.
