They came in to do their jobs like they do every day, and I'm sure they get a daily barrage of emails and directives. Errors happen. I would be surprised that this is anything other than "I missed that directive because I was busy with work and overlooked it" or "I saw that directive, but I got busy with work and forgot." Both times, they went out immediately and lowered it. I didn't have any authority to order it, but simply to advise. Some years it seems like it will never rise to the top again. BUT, with as many flag poles as there are in Century, surely they had to have seen them. Hard to miss that. I mean, c'mon, there's a flag pole at the business right next door. As for the comment about the "over-paid, under-productive workers", I know for a fact that those carriers at Century do their jobs and are hard workers. So unless you are a rural carrier I don't think you should involve the workers in your comments. This is clearly a postmaster oversight unless she knew and didn't do it then its her problem but don't make mean comments about the carriers there.
