I had to force open my frozen truck door just to be able to drive this evening and I saw black ice all along on Hwy 97 but not until I was right up on it! Wow, what a terrible decision to put thousands of kids safety in the hands of ONE PERSON!! Guess it really is possible to be educated beyond one’s common sense!

I hope Mr. Thomas is aware that me nor will my friends’ children will be attending their classes today. My son is fifteen but I still will not allow him to go outside and wait for the bus for fifteen minutes in the freezing cold and then get on the bus that will be driving on a black ice slicked road! Please think about the danger you put my family in.

This man was voted in. I’m surprised people don’t realize the school system doesn’t really care about children. I hope the school district has good insurance on those buses if one wrecks with all those children. I know that would be a heck of a claim. Real smart.

When we lived up in WA, schools would at least delay the schools. Sometimes they would cancel the northern schools instead of all schools.

It’s really unbelievable that our bus drivers are going to be forced to drive in this weather! I have to go to school even though it’ll be below freezing outside! This is messed up lol.

I can’t believe the schools in North Escambia, Fl won’t be closed tomorrow. Those bridges are very dangerous to drive on.
